Philip Henry is the founder and a co-owner of Civil Design Group, LLC. Phil established the company based on the principles of providing efficient, quality and cost effective civil engineering services to his clients, which include developers, retailers, contractors, homeowners and municipalities. Over the past 10 years, Phil has specialized in designing, permitting, and providing project management services for retail, residential and mixed use development projects of all sizes throughout New England and New York. Phil's professional land development experience ranges from 100-acre multi-use projects to 50-acre planned unit developments to two-acre retail projects. Phil represents clients in securing project permits with applicable regulatory agencies and authorities, including expert testimony in front of local boards and commissions. Phil is committed to providing practical engineering solutions, attention to detail, and responsive customer service. Phil's daily responsibilities include direct management and design input of all company projects and operations.

Matthew Leidner is a principal and co-owner of Civil Design Group, LLC. Matt’s engineering career includes over a decade of experience designing, permitting, and overseeing construction of a diverse mixture of projects of all sizes and levels of complexity throughout New England, New York, and Pennsylvania. Matt’s professional land development experience includes hundreds of residential housing units ranging from single family homes to large apartment buildings, national retail establishments, commercial institutions, and industrial facilities. Matt’s career includes years of experience with prominent Boston area civil engineering firms and more recently as the owner of an engineering company providing clients with stormwater permitting and compliance services. Matt routinely represents clients before municipal boards and commissions and negotiates permit conditions with regulatory officials on behalf of clients. Matt also performs construction oversight to ensure that projects are built in accordance with applicable regulations, permits, and approved design documents.
